Use the model's parts list, not the fountain name alone
A pet fountain combines food-contact plastic, stainless steel or ceramic with a submersible pump and electrical cable. The dishwasher-safe claim normally applies to removable non-electrical pieces, not the complete fountain.
Clean the pump by hand
